What is a deal?
A deal is a sales opportunity at a stage of the pipeline. It contains information about a potential sale or opportunity—it’s where you manage your sales process and guide leads to take action.
Deals are created within a specific stage and progress through the stages as the sales process unfolds.
Deals help track and manage revenue opportunities and sales progress.

Before creating a deal, make sure you have
- QuillCRM Pro activated
- A pipeline has already been created to organize your sales process
- At least one stage in the pipeline where the deal will be placed
- Related contacts added
- An owner assigned to the deal
